Adventure & Comfort Meet in Awasi

Awasi Patagonia

Luxury and adventure meet in the shadow of Chilean Patagonia’s soaring mountains. Boasting views of Torres Del Paine, the famed national park in Patagonia’s Chilean region, Awasi’s luxury, private villas sit nestled quietly in the foothills. The recipient of several travel awards, Awasi has carefully and sustainably crafted fourteen private villas facing the sharp peaks and glaciers of the national park, as well as Lake Sarmiento. Offering both solitude and natural grandeur, the luxury villas draw international travelers looking for both escape and adventure. Guests are offered private, guided excursions into the nearby mountains, where they can see wildlife and jaw-dropping vistas before returning home to the luxurious comfort of Awasi.

The Villas

Built into the natural landscape, the villas seek simplicity to blend in among the surrounding grasses and trees. Inspired by old Patagonia shelters, crafted from wood, there are only fourteen luxury cabins on the private reserve. To ensure the least amount of harm to the landscape, the villas are built upon stilts. Though the views from each private villa are their largest drawing point, each also has a hot tub, wood burning stove, and living room. The wood-paneled interiors, sheepskin rugs, wool blankets, and breathtaking panoramic views make guests feel like they are waking up in a different era at the edge of the world. Guests looking for more relaxation are able to arrange in-room massages.

Gastronomy

Chef Fabrizio Aciares, the restaurant’s chef, grew up on the coast of Chile. His brilliant cooking honors and is inspired by the cuisine of his country, as well as the landscape of Torres del Paines. Using locally-sourced produce, each dish incorporates a hint of Patagonia. All food is included, with lunch and dinner paired with the best Chilean wines.

Excursions

One of the most unique parts of the Awasi experience is that each guest is paired with their own private guide to take them through the surrounding Torres del Paine national park. Trips through the park are tailored to each guest, with no one-size-fits-all approach to experiencing and moving through the breathtaking natural scenery. Populated by foxes, horses, sheep, pumas, llamas, and eagles, the park sits just beyond the boundary of the villa.
